Course Description

With online and hybrid learning, teens are spending more time on screens. What are warning signs that you or a friend may be at risk for online harm and what does self-advocacy look like virtually? The suggested audience for this training is teenagers.

Learning Objectives

1. Identify why pre-teens and teens are at risk for online harm.

2. Explain how the teenage brain can work against safety strategies.

3. Classify emotional information versus personal information in building an online footprint.

Session Formats

45-60 minutes if offered as a part of the school day
